Robert Hild

Robert Hild is the Chairman and CEO of ACT Capital Advisors, bringing more than 25 years of private equity and executive leadership experience to the firm. Prior to joining ACT, he co-founded Invest West Capital, LLC—a private equity firm focused on middle-market opportunities along the West Coast. During his tenure, Robert served as CEO of five portfolio companies and led more than 20 mergers, acquisitions, and exits, representing over $200 million in cumulative transaction value.

Robert’s operational background spans a diverse range of industries, including light manufacturing, food processing, retail fixtures, durable medical products, industrial recycling, critical power systems, and legal support services. His ability to drive performance and create value across varied business environments has earned him a strong reputation among owners, investors, and executive teams.

Earlier in his career, Robert served as a senior manager in Corporate Finance at Ernst & Young, advising middle-market companies on strategic transactions and growth initiatives.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree from the Brigham Young University School of Accountancy and an MBA from the Marriott School of Business. He also completed Stanford University’s Executive Leadership Program.
