Michael Vanderslice

Mike Vanderslice is a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors with extensive leadership experience as a business owner, operator, and advisor. He has spent his career supporting middle-market private companies across multiple industries, helping business owners navigate value creation, exit planning, and transaction execution with clarity, professionalism, and integrity.

Mike brings deep expertise in manufacturing, distribution, and B2B services, primarily serving companies with up to $50 million in annual revenue. He is widely recognized as a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive teams throughout the Pacific Northwest and is known for his direct, pragmatic communication style and his ability to guide clients through complex strategic decisions.

In addition to his role at ACT, Mike operates Vanderslice Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity firm that provides direct equity and mezzanine debt investments to select companies. His executive background includes leading multiple organizations as CEO, including STI Fleet Services (now DriveShop), Clothier & Head (now Petersen & Sullivan), Vanderslice Advisory Services, and Management Design Associates (now part of Moss Adams Consulting).

Mike holds a Master's in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College. He is also a Certified Management Consultant.
