Kevin Outcalt

Kevin is a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors, where he works closely with business owners across California and the western United States to support successful mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising initiatives. His approach combines market insight, leadership experience, and transaction expertise to help clients achieve strategic and financial goals.

Kevin’s background is rooted in the high-technology sector, where he held senior roles in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at major organizations including Cisco, SAP, and AT&T/Pacific Bell. During this time, he participated in more than 30 acquisitions, gaining valuable hands-on experience in complex deal structures and integration strategies.

Beyond technology, his executive leadership extends into the hospitality and sports and entertainment industries, where he served in multiple C-level positions, including CEO and President. In these roles, Kevin oversaw more than a dozen sell-side transactions involving companies in the small and lower middle market across the United States, Latin America, and Asia.

His career also includes service on corporate boards in software, telecom, financial services, and professional sports. Kevin’s contributions to marketing innovation have earned industry recognition—most notably when Forbes Magazine highlighted his Cisco Powered Network joint marketing program among the Top Ten strategic innovations supporting Cisco’s growth. He is also the author of the book VSATs: A Competitive Threat or Business Opportunity, written during his time at Pacific Bell.

Kevin holds both a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from the George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University, where he also competed as an All-American water polo athlete.

Since joining ACT Capital Advisors in 2021, Kevin has led transactions across a broad spectrum of industries, including computer software, AI and IoT, building products, food and beverage, heavy industry, telecommunications, facility security, healthcare, consulting, hospitality, transportation and logistics, engineering, and medical equipment.
