Daniel Nicklaus

Daniel Nicklaus is a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors with more than 15 years of experience spanning finance, commercial banking, and mergers and acquisitions. His career includes senior roles at leading financial institutions such as Heritage Bank, Umpqua Bank, and West Coast Bank, where he focused on business development and middle-market lending.

Before entering investment banking, Daniel served as Director of Finance for Corliss Resources, a privately held construction and real estate company. In that role, he contributed directly to strategic planning, capital oversight, and acquisition initiatives. His combined experience in institutional lending and operational finance equips him with a well-rounded perspective when advising business owners on exit readiness and M&A strategy.

Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Pacific Lutheran University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Central Washington University. He resides in the greater Seattle area and remains engaged in regional business and alumni networks.
